Nothing in the OP's post mentioned a Uniball UCA or LCA. Useing an extended length CO with OEM CA's is going to result in BALLJOINT damage on the CA's.

cause if anything breaks, they didnt get any help from this site :) wouldnt know any better and just fix it themselves and pay the dealer for the screwup without thinking the setup was wrong???

thats true, I was associating the term ball joint with uniball joint because Im used to ppl referring to the stock ball joint control arms as merely stock control arms. Extended shocks definitely cause stress on the stock ball joints, thats my most of us get the much coveted TC, camburg etc uniball UCAs.

Although the OP was only talking about getting spindles and AALs, I thought it was a good start, but the next steps he would consider are extended c/o's. With those one should obviously get uniball uppers. But if the OP wants to stick with stock shocks, them its all good :)

I dont think anyone offers it as a retail product, but most shops (in Socal anyways) can make on for you

Camburg does install limiting straps on their LT kit, I know I had one. If you use stock UCAs you should not use extended length shocks, PERIOD. Now if you get aftermarket UCA of some kind, most of them allow for an additional inch of downtravel. This is why ICON installed a limiting spacer, to limit the downtravel on their standard coilovers. Because they didn't want them to break the stock UCAs ball joint.

Correct if I am wrong Chris.
