what exactly do aftermarket spindles do besides not brake as easy as the stocks??? act like spacers??? meaning do they make the wheels stick out more???

No, if you get a lift spindle it provides lift while keeping your suspension stock. Wheel spacers make wheels stick out more.

most spindle lifts, lift the truck higher either 3.5 or 4 inch higher than stock the usual brands be Camburg Allied and TC . Yes they do make the wheel base further out from the truck it makes it a more aggressive stance and better handling since your lifting the truck higher. Spindles do not act like spacers in the fact that spindles are a more "healthy" of a lift if you want to say; less wear on the LCA and UCA. But of course any lift can cause more excessive wear and tear on various parts of the truck.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
the spindles also poke the wheels out a lil furhter, IIRC. that's in addition to the lift

im installing spindles at the moment and basically they relocate the entire hub assembly DOWN on the spindle in comparison to the stock spindle and therefore gives you lift. it keeps your tie rods and all that jazz in stock location so there is no change in the angle of the steering components yet the camburg does away with the sway bar (imo its a pointless thing to have anyways) and maintains the stock abs sensors and what not.... its a great addition to any taco as long as u got the money. and they beefy as hell too.
