The TRD Sport used to have a real mechanical LSD in the rear until 2008. Now it's garbage because it has an open rear with a simulated LSD via computer applying the brakes.

To sum up the info available on TW:
sport suspension vs off road suspension (includes a thicker sway bar<-don't take it off)
    color-matched 'parts' vs. chrome
    Signals in mirrors vs. none
17" alloy wheels with a street tread tire vs. 16" alloy wheels with AT tire
The very important TRD Sport graphics vs. Off Road
Nonfunctioning hood scoop (unless you count +10mpg and +50hp)
NOTE: the scoop is the one thing most owners do not seem to swap out within the first year.

Most importantly - OR not available in the DCLB configuration

I've been in offroads with a trac in use,, very noisy! I like the ywm. Works OK and is quiet. I couldn't quite get over the sounds like the bottom of the truck falling out.

You're a contractor, in Canada, who dislikes bullshit. I don't know why I've never put it together before, I think OZ-T is actually Mike Holmes!

    Yeah.
LOL, I was trying to figure that one out, now I get it.

I forgot about the potentially different sized anti-sway bars. Another minor difference.

    You rang?

You guys have it covered fairly well... I might add this (you knew this was coming, right?):

A-TRAC works just fine without you ever needing the rear locker, since A-TRAC is basically doing the same action, but only as long as needed, automatically. A-TRAC auto-locks the front and the rear tires when any of them begin to spin (lose traction) and that transfers moving power to the other tires that still are able to move the truck. There is no speed limit on A-TRAC, but as it only works in low range, that isn't going to be too fast. With only one (front or rear) of the three tires on solid ground, the A-TRAC will move the truck, even uphill. Only the OFF ROAD 4WD has the hydraulic brake booster, needed for this high level of traction control. All others have a vacuum break booster.

The rear locker with A-TRAC on the front tires is a back up, perhaps for pulling others, or use it when you don't want any throttle regulating electric traction control over 3 mph (A-TRAC wakes up on the front tires if speed drops below 3 mph to move you before you're stuck).

A-TRAC is so amazing, I can't imaging being in low range without it on standby to keep me moving. The locker is rarely needed if ever now that we have A-TRAC. A-TRAC has been in other Toyota and Lexus vehicles before it was added to the Tacoma in 2009.
