Sport with ARB lockers, still have A-LSD

Just bought a 2017 sport from a dealer here and they didn't really know the extent of the modifications to the truck. Found out it has ARB lockers front and rear. Just curious if that means I no longer have the auto LSD in the rear?

"Auto-LSD" is just another word for traction control. Not an actual LSD. The ARB locker when unlocked will function exactly the same as the stock sport rear end.

 

Cool thanks. I didn't know it was computer controlled. Weren't the 2nd Gens an actual LSD or also electronic?

 

Yeah, you could get an optional LSD on the 2nd gen Tacoma.

Thanks, I knew it had a compressor under the hood but wasn't sure what for. Also has a 2.5" or 3" Full King suspension lift with Total Chaos UCA's, not sure on height cuz they didn't know, Koing 6 shooters with Nitto Ridge Grapplers, some cheap light pods and bar and an S-Pod, and a center console safe. Paid 2k over book for the year and mileage but I think I got the better deal with all the extra shit it came with. Expectantly since I didn't know it had the lockers.

If it has lockers it might also have 4.88’s as well.

 

Does it have lockers or does it just have a compressor with rocker switches marked for lockers?

Actually, found the old owner on here, hasn't been active since October tho Been off-road quite a bit. He used to have a roof rack and bed rack with tent and shit. Wish he kept that on it too lol

Edit* Its got the air lines still going into the diffs so i assumed the lockers where still in

Just hit the button, still has the lockers, can hear them click.

I figure if they weren't there any more I'd hear air rushing out and no click

 

Look under the truck for air lines going into the rear and/or front diffs

 

Lines are still there going to the diff, that's why i assumed it had lockers, then I saw old owners post that he had them but I hadn't hit the button until tonight lol
