spring compressors?

Does anyone know the factory torque specs to the bolts in the method above or where I can get the specs?

 

Using this method as a reference, where would the 1/4" driver side lean spacer go? And what is the estimated time for going from stock to new shocks and springs using them method hypothetically

 

cut em off with the zip disc when your done

If it goes right on top of the spring why would the put notches in it like this?


And would you happen to know what to torque the bolts to on the re-install? All I could find was to the top bolts and the lower shock mount

That goes on top of the top plate. After using said method, you would have to take off the three nuts on the top plate, put the spacer on top of it and bolt it back on.

Anyone know the answer to this?:

 

The torque for the top 3 nuts is 50lbs.

 

^^This is what I had to do as well. I took the long screw out and spun the gripper to the bottom of the coil where there was wider space between turns. I had to finesse the gripper out, but finally it came out.

 

x3 it's a PITA but worth it. Take your time and do it the right way.
