Have had Alltell, Verizon, and Sprint.

    They all have their issues.

Alltell's coverage was horrible. Verizon erroneously overbilled me on several occasions, requiring too much of my time to get corrected and essentially saying "take us to court" on one occasion and refusing to correct the issue. This was the straw that made me leave them and go to Sprint.

    Also, there's this:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rKyTCOK8J4

Sprint has occasional issues with dropped calls. However, it's rare enough that it's less of a hassle than the problems from the other two carriers. So far, I've liked Sprint the best of the services I've had.

As I work for them (for now), I get a nice discount. I have a Droid Incredible on order to replace my Blackberry Storm. The springy thing that gives you that positive response keyboard has begun to fail, so it's getting hard to press keys on the bottom of the screen.

Amazing, that's exactly how my experience went with Verizon before I switched to Sprint.

Don't be fooled - they're all big money grubbing companies that just want your dime.

I've never had verizon, but I've been with sprint now for like 6 years and I can't complain.

I have had Verizon for years. It's getting time to renew contract and get new phones. By the looks of things, Verizon wants me to add a data plan to the phones to get upgraded phones. I like the upgraded phones but only use the phones to talk and text. I do not want the data plans.

When the time get closer, I am going to go to a "Verizon" (company) store and see what they will do for me. Wonder what would happen if I were to print out my proposed Sprint order from the web with my costs and phone selections to take with me. If they don't want to help me out, I'll walk right down the street to Sprint.

I had Sprint for 5+ years in the LA area. No big problems, just certain predictable places where the calls dropped. I eventually moved to Philly, changed to AT&T cuz my then-GF had it. They were blah, to say the least. OK coverage, then I moved to missouri and their nearest tower was 90 miles from where I lived. So I switched to Verizon, the only big name WITH coverage there...

So far, pretty happy. Not the greatest phone selection, but much better coverage than AT&T, probably a bit better than sprint. They seem to have better in-building coverage than their competitors, which is important for me since I work indoors up to 30 hours at a time.
