who in the world WOULDN'T sit? you sit there for a good 20 minutes and read or play games on your phone, its a nice little "me time" that i'm not about to give up

I had a friend in highschool that would always shit in the urinals at restraunts. :O

I can't imagine the pain I would experience in my quads, and possibly my knees, squatting over that Asian toilet. I don't even go on a backpacking trip unless it's an emergency. It hurts and my pants and shoes are far to close to the line of fire. Not to mention, what if you start peeing? Where does that go?

 

I once saw a special ed kid sitting on a urinal taking a shit. The only thing that went through my mind was, there is no toilet paper in the urinal stalls. So, he not only sat on a pissed covered disgusting urinal to take a shit, he also had nothing to wipe his ass afterwards. It was wierd seeing this and I think I was only about 8 years old at the time.

 

HAHAHAHAHHA!! i dont knwo why but that killed me! when I go backpacking its quite the dillema, thank god freeze dried food and trout doesnt produce too much feces

I sit, but prefer a toilet that is as low as possible. I've even thought about building a short stool to go in front of the crapper to get a better "departure angle".

I think we've all done it. Mine involved not eating anything all day then quickly downing 2 Gatorades and a bag of Doritos.

lol, when I was in korea they had those kind of shitters in lots of places. I never used one or attempted to use one.

 

i can go anywhere, anyhow. i traveled southeast asia, and a squat toilet is actually more sanitary. you dont touch anything. but they do smell like shit.

camping, i squat. into a hole, kick dirt in..done.
