So im trying to trace a squeak in the front end of the truck.

    2008 Tacoma 4door 4x4 250,000 miles

    So heres where im at:

new Balljoints last October on both sides. they were needed. Moog replacement, put in by a reputable shop. Passenger side does have a leak in the boot (i am going to try and put some grease in them this weekend and see if thats it)

Power steering fluid topped off but wasnt low.

When i bounce the front end, no squeak so not shocks or springs. (5100's on stock springs)

Put new CV axles last year also

Mostly squeaks when i am turning and one side is higher than the other in the turn. Does not make a noise when going down the road that i can tell. Doesnt make any noise when sitting still and turning the wheel.

also plan on jacking the truck up and checking wheel bearings this weekend.

    Anything else i should check?

Most common squeaking problem I hear about is the sway bar links. If they're still on there, disconnect them and see if it goes away.

I got my squeak narrowed down to lower control arm bushings, but I may disconnect a sway bar link just to verify, its free!
