Yep I've got a 6-spd '13 Access Cab with this already. Is there a list of part #s around that can eliminate the issue? Bearing, shaft etc? And can a decent guy with a wrench do the swap without too much pain suffering or special 10pg process and proprietary tools?

I was so hoping in searching on this it was just a bushing to lube. :(

If it makes noise with the clutch pedal up, and the noise disappears when you hit the clutch, it's this issue unfortunately. I don't have a part number, but URD has a kit.

No proprietary tools, same work as a clutch job more or less. You'll have to drop your trans, put the input shaft cover and new throw out bearing, put it back in. Worst part is probably getting to the trans bolts on top of the bell housing and physically benchpressing it out, although I've never done a Tacoma six speed

Squeaks terribly both when pressing and depressing. Hopefully then possibly just a bushing or hinge hardware rubbing that needs a new bushing or some grease maybe?

Yeah,.that's the problem with the lock nut and rod above the pedal, not the TOB issue. Just get under your dash and mess with the pedal like in the beginning of this thread. Easy fix.

Unless they fixed the 6-speeds though (haven't kept up on it). I'd keep the other input shaft sleeve in mind down the road.

You can certainly feel the squeak through the pedal when pressing and releasing, and its intermittent about 90% of the time. I'll check. Hope that's it.

Yeah, noise while you're actually moving the pedal is just the pedal squeaking.

The TOB issue occurs when your foot is off the clutch and goes away as soon as you press it, completely different.
