So I take my truck to the dealer on Thursday for my clutch squeaking like crazy. I tell him I read about a TSB and that it sounded just like the problem I was having. I pick it up later and he tells me there was no TSBs for my truck and that they just lubed the clutch.
It was not making any noise for about 4 hours and it started again. Now its just as bad or worse.
Should I call Toyota or go back to the dealer and demand the squeaky cluth TSB?
Has anyone else had problems getting the clutch fixed right?

I'd say call the 800 number. Just out of curiosity, did you take it to Vandergriff Toyota?

Sometimes you have to do the leg work yourself and hand the TSB to them and tell them you want this done.

Some sevice managers just really don't care to look.

I did take it to Vandergriff. It is close to my house. I would take it to Freeman Toyota where I bought it from but I had a very negative experience with everyone in every department there.

Ah. Your experience led me to believe you went there. They really don't know anything at Vandergriff. From the sales floor to the parts department...I don't trust them. When shopping, the salesman told me that my truck (the one I currently own) does not exist. He told me that Toyota does not make a 2.7L PreRunner.

But I digress. Take a few minutes to run up to Don Davis Toyota across the street from Hurricane Harbor (or Wet N' Wild, depending how old you are.) They have a great service department, and that's where I had my rear leaf TSB done. So they apparently have knowledge of TSBs in general.

Find another dealer, the one I deal with is great, it makes all the difference.
