Yeah, that's what I did. The areas subject to zero or minimal friction got paint (like under overload, around the eyes, and on the top leaf), lighter in some areas than others, and the leaf faces in large contact patches with high friction got several coats of moly spray lube rather than paint. And then I sprayed your sheep dip crap all over them once mounted.

Not completely stripped. That was while they were still new. I noticed that they were starting to rust after sitting in the back of my truck for a day, I knocked of most of the original paint and primed and painted. They will rust eventually I'm sure.

I drive a work van every day. Pos is loud, rattles in the wind, shit bouncing around in back, cant hardly hear on phone. Really enjoy driving my baby on the weekend in silence. Besides the ringing of my ears.

Now that the temp has dropped to -10 the bushings squeak way more. Truck has 8000km on it and it sounds like a pile of junk.

Yup those took care of the initial squeak after install. But the bushings are squeaking bad and it's starting to drive me insane. Brand new truck sounds like a junker. Gonna have to pull these and get this fixed ASAP now. Colder temps make it terrible. I just wish there was a way to grease these regularly w/o having to pull everything apart. The ride and performance is top notch but ... Fawking squeaks!!!!

    Na. I'm just a dumbass.
I dropped off some use oil to recycle and tossed the "empty" containers in the bed of my truck....and forgot. 3 days later I saw oil spots on my garage and realized I forgot them. The containers since tipped and bled out the holes cut for my bedcage and well lubricated my rear suspension.

Oh and for everyone else...race car parts make race car noises.

    LOL.

Ever try Fluid Film? Ding Dong turned me on to it. They have it in rattle cans at Oreilly now. I buttered up mine with that after install. Lanolin based, they use it on farm machinery and heavy equipment too. For Tahoe and your conditions, could be a boon for application couple times a year.

After the used motor oil testing studies are complete, of course.

Oh I'm very familiar with fluid film. Been using for years. That's why my kings are still shiny!
