Yeah but the problem is that they KNOW people come back again and again cause their vehicles' impeccable quality and where else you gonna go for service...they got it locked in and hence the slippage. They probably sent the shop rookie to do your install to give him experience- but THEY are supposed to doublecheck!

definitely............and its kinda like alll the people who have had the leaf spring tsb done wrong the first time(including my truck)......now thats a damn joke and disgrace for me to have to tell the service manager that they not only ordered the wrong parts, but installed them too...............then not even offer a service of some sort for free or so. its just ridiculous. not to mention, when they did my alignment......my steering wheel was crooked as hell. it just pisses me off that they miss and completely disregard so much stuff at dealerships. i know we all make mistakes....but come on. i aint paying for something to be more messed up when i pick it up, then it was when i brought it in!

    ok.....off my soap box now:)

............yeah 06 but that stuff DID happen to you, multiplied by MILLIONS of Toyota owners-before anybody climbs on me just let me add that A LOT of Toyota service foulups are due to laziness, standards, incompetence and lack of concearn for people. Ok I'll take MY soapbox off your soapbox now:)

I've been wondering why I have a squeak in the rear suspension after some suspension work done. I did not know where to complain - to the dealer that did the TSB or to the shop that installed the 5100 all around a week later. After seeing this post, I immediately checked my truck and found out it's exactly the same problem.

I will complain to the dealer tomorrow. Thanks for the post man!
