Not saying this is a good idea but back east I saw a Tacoma with the exhaust dumped out of the bedside. Kind of in the same spot the fuel door is on but the opposite side.

I'm planning on doing something like that once I get the links set. That's why I'm going with shorties. So I can still fit the muffler in that little pocket. I'll keep in mind the noise factor. I didn't think about that. Rerouting the exhaust is going to be a pain.

Edit: Brett it's a good thing to see that frame. I'm going to have to plate it when I tear down the truck for a rebuild. Thanks for sharing that.

yea that is a down side to links. Pretty much have to dump it short or pipe out the side through the bedside.

I bet you can fit a large muffler though right out of the Cat though to try and keep it down.

Plus the glass isn't very wide on that side so it's something I'm really going to try and figure out.

Going to go as far back as possible. Was debating going Dodge 1/2 ton style and cutting a 1/3 or so of circle in my rear bumper lower trim piece and running it out there. Would probably smash it all to hell though. Might work if it ends a touch shy of the bumper.

At that point, id just bend it up as high as possible run it along the bed, then bend it to aim down right before the bumper. Probably in the middle due to the rear shock relocation.

Probably exactly what I'll do. Rear shocks are going to be as tight against the frame as possible, so will run the exhaust just a little inside of them.

    Agreed. Nice work!

I was talking with Ray about those bumps and I was curious if they threaded into the LCA or if you had to run them on the frame. Let me know how you like them.

Now that I look at what you did, I need to do all of those things, except the skid stuff. Are your spindles already gusseted?

Those bumps screw into the frame not the LCA.

Be curious to see if you like those Daystars vs the Superbump/OEM combo.

Those Daystar bumps are awesome. They dealt with the pounding of my long travel for some time. I'm glad I have them.

Had to drill and tap the frame. The bumps have a 3/8" stud on them.

    Yes spindles are already gusseted.

Will report back on the bumps whenever I finally get a chance to drive this pile again.
