Yeah, we'll have to meet up on the trail again at some point here.

Engine will be out in a couple days. Not sure it would have made it to 300k given how much material is in the oil, and for only 2k miles on it too.

Or, maybe like Ryan said, Toyota engines are so reliable you don't need bearings. :p

 I was looking for that picture yesterday when it was brought up.

Was glad to see it was still there, too!

Yep. Went way easier this go around.

Need to button a few things up and take it for a spin, but it's running way smoother than the old engine was.

    Awesome bud! Happy for you.

There’s a SC up for grabs? Damn shocks are expensive. SC is going to have to wait.

:lalala: You guys are bad influences.

On a positive note, truck is driving great! Feels quite a bit smoother than it use to. Curious what I'll find in the old engine...

So I pulled the bearing caps last night to check it briefly, and everything looked OK. Obviously not a thorough inspection.

I was thinking more about it though, and I'm not sure rebuilding it is worth it. I can buy 2 used engines for the price of rebuilding mine, and honestly I could swap an engine in a day now that I know what I'm doing.

Thanks again, Brett! Engine fired right up and seems to be running perfect.

Need to get a few more miles on it, and then take it back up north. :spy:
