Zero rubbing, but it's not an easy fit and you'll probably have to cut some of your inner fender. Those resi hoses were built on the truck essentially.

I know it's an old post but I got the same cooler as you, did you have a hell of a time getting the 11/32" line onto the stock hardlines/pump? Any tricks you sued to make it easier? I got some 3/8" line to make it easier on myself but want to make sure it still seals well.

    Stuff. Also things.
FWIW, Mike, I was cursing that very thing the whole time because I was trying to do that with really shitty angles to work with. I used the same cooler, BTW.

Yeah, it was a pain in the dick. I did get them on far enough though and haven't had any issues. Some silicone spray helped. I'm sure some slightly larger hose with good clamps would suffice for that low pressure side.

Bummer about the engine but its nice you were ale to find one so quick. With all the fishing posts I'm surprised you haven't made it out to Gunnison for trout and Salmon. And trying to catch a monster in the upper Taylor.

For the most part, I would rather be catching little fish in the middle of nowhere. Spent the weekend chasing down some native cutts out of a tiny creek in the wilderness.

I can also fish the yampa a couple minutes from my house, which has some nice fish.

Thanks guys. I already have the 11/32" line on the return hard line that will be going to the cooler, and since it was a bitch to get on, I am refusing to taking it back off lol. I got some 3/8" line to run back to the pump, hopefully if I ever need to do the pump again it will at least make getting that line off easier.

If that is your goal I would recommend exploring the Roan Plateau, I was up there about 4 years ago and found a stream with native cutts. Tons of oil and county roads to get around without touching pavement.

Are you telling me that the oil wells aren't polluting the stream?! Mind blown!

LOL! The oil fields are down in the lower lands while all the streams are up above them by a couple thousand feet.

 I'll add that to the list of places to explore. Unfortunately, there's too many things to do, and not enough Summer.

Definitely! But that area is a great one to hit early to mid fall and miss out on some of the heat.

My swing out latches were poorly designed, and caused rattles and many broken ubolts. After driving too fast aired up on a very bumpy road in WY and breaking both ubolts, I decided it was finally time to cut that shit off and fix it.

    Here's where I got yesterday.

    IMG_20190908_173906_01_01.jpg

I figured this would work perfect, but it doesn't hold the tire side well enough to keep it from moving in and out slightly. Might just order another pop pin and call it good enough.

    The final...

    ... I hope.

And it's not really a new version, I just did a shitty job with the latches when I switched to the dual.

Althought, while I was working on it I modified it to fit this light below the gas can and am adding a receiver for a MTB rack I need to build.

    I'm realizing that. :bananadead:

I told @Reh5108 I was going to come up with a permanent solution when the latches broke on the last trip. 'There is no permanent' he laughed in response.

I build 6 versions of the one on my Jeep, it's on the final version since I'm selling it.
Burt will hopefully not get a swing out and I won't end up going down that wormhole again.

You have even proved that a Toyota engine isn't permanent.
