    Yes. I think that's what's killing it.

    And the occasional jump.

Although the technical wheeling does twist the whole truck. I've wondered about that for cracks like the front crossmember. Obviously not the coilbucket and control arms though.

I still have no idea what I'm doing, but yeah, practice makes perfect. Or in my case, slightly better.

It's all back together and fits, just barely. I did think about that though as I was laying the bead.

    Stuff. Also things.
I’m willing to bet a lot of it is the fact that it’s a high mileage truck that he’s putting way more dirt miles on than most of us do. On top of that, he wheels the shit out of it.

But the biggest factor is probably all of the washboard miles it sees. That kind of sustained vibration will work harden the weakest, most stress-concentrated parts of the truck and when the metal can’t spring back anymore, it cracks. Washboard just accelerates that process.

Met up with @Blackdawg, @turbodb, and @Digiratus for a few days to get some time on the trail and show them around my backyard here in CO.

You'll just have to come back. Taylor might be 2nd only to Pearl, and I still don't think that's open.

    Last year on Taylor:

Don't worry, I caught smaller ones earlier in the trip.

Glad I didn’t go with the TG straps! You’re leaving the lower bolt a tad loose so it can move a bit, right?

My 7” Karteks have been holding pretty well. I do need to check them and adjust them a bit before we head for Moab later this month, though.

No, lower bolt is tight. I played around with it and not sure I want to leave it loose mounted how it is.

If it presents a problem again, I'll cut the sway bar mounts off and go to a dual shear tab for the lower mount.
