Current mounts are like 2" from the edge of the axle to center of bolt.

They'd have to be like at least 4.5" off the back of the axle for the shock bodies to clear the truss.

Yeah so why not just welding on the new mounts like you have them on the original axle. The put the truss on the axle and grind out a notch that let's the body pass the top section of the truss.

Notch the bottom a bit to get wrench's and the bolt up in there.

I think I've seen this done before...maybe in JDs build?? Or Jason's? Or bobs maybe..

Yeah, been working way too much the last couple weeks with all the new legistration/sba loans/payroll stuff.

    But just for you, Charlie.

Also worked on the truss a little bit this weekend.

By the time I notched it around the leaf perches and ubolts, there wasn't much left at the end. So I cut it even with the edge of my shocks tabs. Then I decided it was too short to be worth it, and I would ditch the truss for now.

So it the end, I managed to waste a bunch of time and turn $100 into some scrap steel. :bananadead:

Pretty sure they're more useful than my old, dirty, misaligned headlights.

I even got the wide/cornering beam.

Funny thing is I think all of his #instafamous mods started after he got the follow me on the trails not Instagram sticker. Minus the GFC that could be the real Instagram starter.

Seems that there is a direct correlation between whether a build is #instafamous or #ghettofabulous and the size of the owner's wallet.

    Broke college kid = #ghettofabulous
    White collar professional = #instafamous
Kids = back to #ghettofabulous
