It cleared up pretty well later on the trip, but at the start it was terrible. Can't exactly change plans last minute on my week and half off work though.

I think I got the seats from Morris 4x4 just because they have the best coupons, but they don't stock the tacoma brackets. Those were ordered from Summit or something. Everything is dropped shipped from Corbeau in UT anyways.

No height adjustment, but I guess you could make spacers between the seat and slider really easily. That being said, I really don't think they sit any lower. :notsure:

    Current plans.

    2nd gen:

-Swap over the GFC. Will probably involve some new bedrails.
-Get rid of my favorite 5100s in favor of some proper suspension.
-LT tires. Has new wildpeaks, but unfortunately they're P rated.
    -IFS skid
    -Leave well enough alone.

    1st gen:
    -Crawlbox
    -35s
    -maybe bob the bed
    -FF 80 rear

It'll probably get SASed at some point, but I think that'll be a couple years down the road.

Also need to give a huge thanks to the guys at GFC for taking care of me. Came to me and pretty much updated my camper to current spec while I was driving the new truck home this weekend. New, updated hinges, aluminum front/rear bars, updated tent material, and a few other little things. Top notch support looking out for us original customers even 2 years later.

Yessir. Is's a 2013, access cab, TRDOR. If it was pyrite mica it wouldn't been perfect, but I think this'll go better with the GFC anyways. And I like that it came with sliders, the streamline bumper and a few other thing already.

Picture from the pass with the new fire in the background as a got home today.

Been looking for a 3rd gen t4r and I’m in the same boat - easier to find and my wife doesn’t know how to drive manual yet so unless I find the unicorn manual 4x4 I’ll get an auto too

The slush box in 1st gen tacos/3rd gen 4runners sucks compared to the 2nd gen tacos.

Wow that's pretty cool of them!

Cool buy. Hope it works out!

I'll give it 3 years before a 2+ lt kit is on it and baby SUA

I’m luckily making that just a people hauler - I couldn’t ever be satisfied driving a non-clutch pedal car - never owned anything without one and don’t plan to except for things my wife drives for people hauling.

If the 2nd gen trans is like the 2nd gen Tundra it should deliver power in a nice manner.

Give it a few years of bouncing down forest roads and I bet that bed will be cracked. Keep your favorite billies on there so you can't go fast.

Sort of. Just bought it off a TW member. Although that's probably way better than the average CL seller.

And - we all know what happens when someone screws someone over on a sale on TW.

Yeah, very happy that they're standing by their product and addressing all the issues.

Nope. I have clear plans for this one. Not going down the rabbit hole again. That's not the point of this one - I'll have two trucks that fulfill two separate purposes.

And they both won't be broken all the time. :luvya:

I think performance shocks with a softer tune will be perfect. The 886 coils on the 5100s are pretty shitty as is.

Yep! I'm excited to dive into the next iteration on the 1st gen. Now I just need to figure out how to prioritize two builds.
