Friday riding in Loma.
Saturday probably do the whole slickrock trail loop since it’s been 10 years and I may camp in Sand Flats the night before.
Sunday - amasa back area.
Monday - maybe Moab brand trails before heading back home.

That thing has been in a constant state of repair for many years now.

 

Make sure you line all the dents back up when you weld it back together. You still have a KTM? Seems like Moab is hella fun with two wheels and a motor between your legs, wasn't sure if you ever rode it out there?

If you never get used to a RTT you never have to feel the shame of going back to the ground. It's the strategy I have been using, totally by choice.

Yeah, the passenger side is going to be a bit of a mess. We'll see how it turns out. At least I cut out most of one of the dents.

Welding this back together is a pain. Have a bit more grinding to do still.

I had a thought about trying to fix those dents.


That thought came and went very quickly.

 

The dents add character

 

They’re like smile lines for trucks

 

Looks good from my house!

 

I think what I need to do is smash that whole corner into a rock again, and get a new dent over the top of all the old dents.

 

No every dent has a story

 

i'm sure you'll have many more to add... you should keep a sharpie handy so you can document where they came from

 

This is why I could never bob the bed even if I wanted to, my bed is way to FUBAR'd!
