    No worries!

Glad the other guys answered cause I really don't know much about multimeters. I have one of the 'nicer' ones from horrible freight, works OK for how little I use it.

Yeah have no idea how to use one either.

But I know I need one to try and find this parasitic draw.

I’m going to be the first guy with a fire extinguisher next to me when doing this process. :anonymous:

Should be easy enough to find. It has to be a non OEM thing. So start with any and all non OEM wiring even if you didn't install it and start testing for voltage and seeing where it goes.

I'd start will pulling fuses and see where the previous owner tapped power for the secret GPS power and RAPTOR lights.

Yeah previous owner, aka "Broheim", in a matter of 3 months of owning it had the likes of Best Buy and "Jazz it Up" install:

    Viper alarm
    Viper remote start
    Double DIN head unit
Raptor lights in the grill (removed already)

I assume it's the Viper shit, which I want gone. After the parasitic draw killed a brand new Northstar AGM battery neither of these things work any more, anyway.

I see the rat's nest of wiring under the lower dash with the units zip tied to my steering column, but before I de-bro this shit from my truck I want to confirm that the circuit it is on is very well the one that's causing the draw.

I'm still a bit angry with you.

I bought my 04 DC only a few months before you sold yours. I'd have bought yours if you told me it was coming up for sale. But nooooooooo, you just had to screw me over.

    Okay, rant over.

Can almost guarantee it's the alarm. It would need constant power to function so they would have to tap a wire with constant power instead of ignition. So I'd just remove that all and bet you'll be good.

For the extra cost, you would have been confident in the engine, transmission and everything else except the 4 holes drilled on top of the bedsides from the ARE contractor shell that came on it. Oh well.

If I were to do it again, back in 2014 when I bought the 1st gen, I should have bought a brand new 2015 off the lot. Then I would be where I’m at today, but have spend half the money.

How fine are the clocking increments on the NWF box, Brett?

You can do 4, 6, 10, or 16. It's temping to try it at 10, but I think I'll just get to cutting and make it fit.

It's well above the crossmember as is, so might get the flat belly once it's all the way up.

You see that area with shiny, new undercoating? That's where I've already given it the bfh treatment. Don't think I can make enough room that way.

Don't drop it on your face. You can shatter your orbital bones and if you blow the blood out of your nose, you can pop your eyeball out.

Not sure if if you saw that post about using the crow foot wrenches for the top two studs, but it is definitely key. I never knew this tool existed and i'm not sure how I'd have gotten those two without one.
