And I'm still rubbing the floor in a couple spots. Hoping I can make it work without pulling it again.

This clearance is a little questionable too.

It was not gonna fit. In hindsight, I think it would have been easy to clear a regular shifter in the back. Plus I'm probably loosing my front cup holder anyways.

    Happy to see this though.

I am sure you have your reasons for not doing a body lift, but I feel like 1" would have made life so much easier.

Even with a body lift he would still be BFHing a good bit.

I know you run very different trails than I do...but I have to ask, do get hung up in your belly skid that often?

No doubt about that. I just wasnt expecting that much to clear the shifters on the rear case. Would it have been that bad without clocking? I cut nothing for the rear shifter assembly.

Edit: I moved my trans tunnel at least 1"-1.5" with a BFH when I did the marlin install a few years ago.

There would still be a hole cut in the tunnel for the tease but one section wouldn't need a BFH put to it.

yeah I think I’d agree with this, and potentially leave the interior cleaner looking when all is said and done. But hard to picture where the center console is landing yet with everything out. With a 1” the little hole you would need for the rear shifter would easily get covered by the center console trim stuff.

I think I would have been cutting without the case clocked. Trans tunnel was BFH'd up as much as possible prior to cutting. Yes, a 1" BL might have prevented the big hole, but cutting is still my preferred method to clear things. :D

Yes, I was sitting on the tcase last time I had it out. Especially with the bed bod and better departure angle, breakover angle is the next thing holding this truck up from being more capable.

From that angle, yeah you would have been cutting no matter what. Damn I have never been under a 1st gen, but from the looks you have less clearance to begin with around your case. That is a tight fit and I am impressed with your dedication to cutting.

You wheel much harder shit than I do, so I get your motivations for the flat belly. I can count on 1 hand the number of times my belly skid has hung me up so it wasn't much of a consideration for me. I love what you're doing, I just wouldn't do it.

How's the shifter operation with the clocking? I really liked the design and the fact that it is supposed to work clocked. All around it just seems like a well thought out product.

I called them last week with this question. There is not currently a twin stick setup if you’re running an electric 4x4 rear case, they also informed me that an electric case will not work as a front donor case.

Pretty much a must on 1st gens if you're doing triple sticks without a body lift.

I'm pretty sure you can run the electric case in the rear, but you can't use it as a donor for the nwfab unit
