That's the plan! She needs to be done in October for Pritchett. This is where I'm at as of now, holes cut on the driver side, the battery box is about gone.

Here's a question- I have about 1" or so before the LCA hits the strike pad. I can't get closer than that because the gusset on the spindle hits the coil bucket of the frame. I assume I should be good at this point? 20230910_171319.jpg

Firewall clearance looks good with those Solos!! Battery will need to be moved for sure. Looks like you're just about there for full compression, but I would want to go up just a bit more to make sure. I had to clearance my spindle gussets and edge of the coilbucket just a touch for them not to hit. Make sure you check it from lock to lock too.

    Copy that!
Firewall work is manageable, im hoping I can bang out everything by the end of the weekend. I do have to give props to the guys doing this with stock LCAs, that a good amount of chopping.

It was a ton of work just for 35s... but I chopped a lot, so with the solos I think I'd be set for 37s.

Should be, aside from all the cutting you'll have to do at the front of the inner fenders after moving things forward. :p

It was kinda a one or the other situation, so I won't be getting one!

Get on with it! And then drive it back out west for some real wheeling. :stirthepot:

I went back, and woke up to a breathtaking sunrise....

....and I messed up and can't stitch the whole pano together. Oh well, third time will be the charm. Plus, gives me an excuse to find my way back to what might be the best campsite ever.

Purty nice! Still think the best site is Dome Plateau (now closed), but I do really like the left side finger/ridge you found at this site!

    That didn't take long!

Lightroom was not happy with me. I have one from earlier in the morning I should see if you can get to stitch.

Is that part of the recent closure? I thought that view rivaled that from top of the world. Disappointing to hear that folks can't enjoy it any more.

You can walk out to the end and view it still but you cannot camp down at the edge anymore, they put up a barrier. The campsite is about 1000ft back and up a little bit in elevation now.

No, not part of the closure.

And that stuff isn't closed yet! Need to get out and check out some of the overlooks of the Green while we still can!

    This isn't that spot. :spy:
