    FWIW, they do make a really nice boot, and they made it to the specifications I gave them, I just don't think are providing the correct reference points for measurements on these more complicated, multi-piece construction boots. Their approach is fine for a straight forward single trans boot, but not when you've got 4 sticks in 1 hole. I think if you give them the right parameters they could do right.

    They also only communicate via email, which is annoying. I honestly believe that my boot would have came out better if they had called me to discuss my questions about measurements like I asked in my messages.

    I learned they're in Poland, hence the email only.

    I guess I'll email them and see what they say; if nothing else, it will help you guys looking to order one. But yeah, not buying another $300 boot.

    I just double checked...it was actually $250 with shipping (not $200 like I said) on a sale they were having back in July 2020. Prices could certainly have gone up since then given the world and stuff. Make sure you're on their mailing list for sales and if your patient you can catch one. If you added colors or thread accents, or those super smooth rhinoceros foreksins, that could certainly impact your price

    They definitely manufacture the shift boots in Poland, but I think the proprietors are in the US. They have an address in Delaware, and apparently a phone number now on their website you could give a jingle:

    I mean, that's probably a good deal for $400. :notsure:

    People think they’re being hunted to extinction for the horns, but really it’s the foreskins for the lucrative shifter boot black market .

    I’ll see myself out.

    So @Littles called it, and Redline confirmed I was supposed to take those corner measurements from each of the individual boxes in my sketch. :facepalm: It definitely wasn't very clear in their instructions.

    @drr @cynicalrider don't use my measurements.

    Waiting for @drr to measure and get boots made since my shit will probably sit in a box for 6+ more months. :popcorn:

    It would take all of a minute or two for me to measure it properly. If you want to order one before installing it, I can go measure.

    Or I'll sell you mine for a discount so I can get a new one! :p

    @cynicalrider

    I'd wait till you get it all in and take measurements off your truck once you get your shifters where you want them. Even if you're planning to do the same pre-bent sticks as Jason, things can change. Just my .02 cents worth.

    Would recommend heavy duty shift detent springs. Had that problem and that solved it. Marlin has ones for the stock case and TG/Marlin for crawlbox ones.

    This!

    I need to replace the detent springs in my stock j-shift case and this thread just reminded me of it.

    Yes, tried that first as the easiest potential fix. It helped a lot, but still does it under heavy decel.
    I’ve heard of an updated shift rod design with a steeper ramp for the detent that keeps it in place under torque reversal.

    I just pulled the TG/Marlin out and swapped to the new electric shift OEM spring. I think NWF advertises it as x5 stiffer.

    Same issue as what I experienced. I was reluctant to open up the tcases, the new spring has had better results than the Marlin HD.
