    Yeah, that looks the same.

Well, I tried to make it all in one go, but I'm not good enough at bending. The joint is sleeved with some 1.5" tubing.

    Anyways, All wrapped up today.

Would've liked to get the drivers side mount higher, but didn't want to completely redo the ebrake bracket. As is I had to flip it over and modify the spring.

Also, finally did something with the rear o2 sensor that's been stuffed up under the heat shield for the last 2 years.

Nice, but why not just get rid of the O2 if it hasn't been doing anything

Did you use bushing joints for the connections to the frame tie ins? Or solid? Got pics?

I don't want a constant CEL, and this seemed easier than a simulator. Hopefully...

    These plus whatever tabs work.

Very pleased with how the shitbox performed in Moab. Ran Wipeout Hill-The Pickle, Cliffhanger, Rusty Nail-Goldbar, Hells, and Poison Spider. One broken CV trying a big optional ledge that I probably had no business on. Also realized I have a shit ton of axle-wrap going on, so need to decide what to do about that. But otherwise cruised through some very difficult trails, and drove home without issue.

What leaf pack do you have these days?
What led you to realize about the axle wrap?

They're an old set of Deaver J59s. The truck is working really well so I kinda don't want to mess with it too much.

I noticed some vibes when the truck is under a lot of load going up a steep obstacle. I suspect it's the ujoint operating at a severe angle. :notsure:

Then I let @Reh5108 drive it up a super steep ledge and watched the pinion rotate up a shit ton, and the leafs between the hanger and axle bend upwards.

Can verify, they're wrapping a ton, especially in the scenario you mentioned while drooped out.

Got it. Sounds like it would be an easy fix with the addition of an anti-wrap bar. there are some good DIY kits out there that wouldn't take away from clearance.

I see why you were concerned about them when I was on the rock pile. :bananadead:

Hope it goes well for you! Make sure to do Cliffhanger. It's definitely my favorite trail out there, much harder than when I last ran it, and it was a good challenge for my rig.

I was thinking about that. I'll need to do a little research. Not losing clearance is the biggest priority.

Not very. The reverse front eye helps with that.

I'm kinda surprised more 1st gen leafs font come like that.

Hm I didn't know about reverse eye leafs like that. That's cool. I wonder what the pro's and cons are of the reverse vs regular ends.

I think it just moves the range of travel up about 2".

I emailed Alcan and asked about it and Lew's answer was: "It is totally application and mounting restraints. Has nothing to do with flex or height."

Spring steel doesn’t know if it’s inverted or not. Deflection is deflection.
