No seal. It's likely the rear main seal.

Yep. Rear main. It's engine oil.

So embarrassingly, I changed that when I did the flywheel swap. I must have messed up the seal or RTVing on the plate when I reinstalled it.

And yeah, I think I could do the whole job in 2 hours, if it wasn't for my damn shifter mess and tunnel cover that requires taking out the seats and center console too. :bananadead:

Nope. I'm going to let it leak!

I spent last night welding up a cracked spindle gusset, and checking over things. Otherwise I think it's good to do more wheeling!

I have never seen another 1st gen crack a spindle gusset. :anonymous: But they've been on for like 8 years.

There are a couple of other companies making them now, though, so if I run into more issues, I could weld up another set.

That guy has a 4runner that’s pretty popular on IG and YouTube. Has a cool aluminum spoiler for 3rd gens that holds 2 BD dust lights I got for my wife’s 4runner.

It's kind of a mall crawler, but he's getting better...

Cool guy, he bought a set of bezels for my lights from BD when I told him I'd have to buy new ones to fit his part only realizing this 5 min after ordering it and it would make the mod another $70 for me and not worth it and wanted to cancel my order.
