Not as much as I've considered a solid axle. :D

Anyways, new tie rod in and aligned. Time to bend it right away this weekend!

Pretty sure I bend one every trip out at this point. I just realign it to normal without replacing. Not ideal, but beats replacing them that often.

Good to have a weak link in the steering, right?.....right??

A rack slider might be helpful in taking the load off those inner tie rods.

How would that help? don't rack sliders typically attach to the ITR when you convert it to a heim? Dunno how that would help if you're keeping OEM inners

Also, there's a clear witness mark on that ITRE from binding. I assume it's only at full droop turned all the way, but I really need to check that.

Yeah basically if he's putting that much load on the inners, it would help distribute it more where machined one piece tie rods will still put all the load on the rack and we are already kind of talking about that in the other thread with the clamp fails.

Pretty sure I took this thing out a grand total of 4 times after my Moab trip this year. Took about as many pics too. Now it's parked up again for the winter.

Need to finally get around to fixing the rear main leak next spring. And may finally raptor line the whole truck too. Liking the new Landcruiser Trail Dust color currently. :spy: Not much else on the list.
