So you did just the belt and pump? I guess all I really did was the pump besides the HG and all the gaskets on the way in.

Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, t-belt idler pulley, t-belt tensioner, and all 3 accessory belts. All OEM parts. Kit I bought also came with cam seals and a crank seal, but I didn't bother replacing them. It was preventive maintenance being I've put almost 60K on the truck since I bought it, and I was unsure when the last one was done by the previous owner as he told me a few different stories when I bought it. Seeing it though, I think it was done at 190K when he said it was. Belt was in good condition, with no signs of cracks or dry rot, and you could still read 'Gates' and the part number very clearly on the belt.

Good deal, I just went back and did the thermostat and the radiator hoses, should have done them with the HG, but it wasn't too much extra work as a standalone repair.

A small handful of select mods.
Ray did you have to write a PID to get the tranny temps or did they show up right away? On Torque I had to add 2 PID programs to get the 2 tranny temps. I enlisted Michelin man for help on that on one.

I don't have a tranny temp so I would have to write a PID to see it. I just follow the coolant.

I could add things to this screen to watch if I need to. I added these when I was adding a sim to my 2.7

Cleaned up the electrical under the hood. Have some more to do, but overall it's a huge improvement.

Diffs are built and ready to be installed. Will install and break in this weekend pending weather. Super excited to play with the F&R lockers and the lower gearing.

Huge thanks to @thefatkid for setting them up, and @Night Eagle for shuttling the diffs back and forth to the front range.

Congrats Brett, I know those upgrades have been a long time coming. I'm sure they'll pay off for you this summer.

Damn son! Front AND rear lockers?!

If you ever figure out how to work the clutch pedal, you're gonna be unstoppable in that thing!

Nice work? All I've done is sit behind a desk long enough to pay for all the parts.

I've got a real nice bottle of champagne sitting at home that I got from a client. Maybe I can bring it to the desert. We know how you like your champagne.

Pay off might not be the right term, but I'm sure I'll enjoy them. Been waiting to get these for quite a while.

Well, I've always had a rear locker. Just adding the front. But the 4.88s should help with my clutch pedal work. Excited to see how it feels in 4L with 20% lower gearing.

Is this thing headed for trailer-rig status or what?

You mean like if you had to call a trailer cause a wheel came off?

Not that I foresee. Will be working on suspension next. Going for a nicely setup Mid-Travel and nothing more. No LT. No SAS. Not for my purposes.

After that, I don't know. I think I'll have it exactly how I want it. I'll just keep driving it and go from there.

:brianr: I didn't need a trailer the first time. :anonymous:

Man I dream about having a clutch again. Someday I will hack apart some poor 5spd Xtracab and put my DC on it.
