Squeeky clutch pedel.

Well I just got my Taco last weekend, And today the clutch pedel is squeeking, It's also squeeking outside??? Could this be a dealership thing. I don't want wd40 mess allover my carpet

happened on my 2000...... took it to the shop, they lubed it up, and it was squeekless for just a few months.
good luck! the squeek gets rather annoying eh?

 

Ok thanks ya'll, Not really annoying, This is my first vehical with warrent, and under 200k miles..LOL, So I want it in tip top shape

 

I think there is a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) for this issue. Check with your dealer.

Yeah take it to the dealer. I hope your dealership wont hassle you. When I said my clutch pedal was squeaking they actually wanted to hear it. Mine only did it when it was hot, so i kept having to go back. Such a waste of time and gas.

 

My clutch pedal only squeeks when it is hot outside. I leave in the north so for the last few months no squeek. Waiting for the summer so I can take it to the dealer so he can hear it.

 

Same here. I hit it with some teflon spray lube every few weeks.

 

My '09 started doing it about a month after I got the truck, then it stopped on it's own and it hasn't come back (knocks on wood)...

 

Im at the dealership right now for this problem im acutually using a computer they have here for guest waiting , its sucks because it wasnt squeeking when i brought it in and i told them that it only happens when its hot but he acutally wanted to hear it, so a technician came out and looked at it and said theres a tsb for it, something to do with a spring or something, so there going to check it out so im just waiting to see what happens.

 

Had the tsb done on mine 5 months later started doing it again, brought it back to the dealer told me nothing they could do as they had alllready done the tsb, so now when its hot it squeaks all the time

 

Really thats sucks so basically when i get it done im going to expect for it to squeek again in a few months , i guess i have to bump my music so i wont hear that annoying squeek
