    I have had the squirrels make a nest in mine. They packed it so full of leaves you couldn't see in it at all. When I picked it up one day to look inside, the damn squirrel jumped out and scared me half to death.

    I've got 2 black labs & a border collie. The border is really fast, but even he can't get the squirrels. He's had some close calls, so they know to keep their distance.
