It bubbles where the glass meets the black surround and doesn't look very good.

I agree. It doesn't ruin the truck for me though.

@Diablo169 Great build! I have the exact same SR and want to go a similar route. I have 5100s (waiting to install with coil) but am debating if I should go with 885 or 887s.

Have you noticed any sag with the 885s?

    Thank you

Man am I jealous, that's the color I wanted, I just didn't have the patience to wait 3 months for an order. Not saying I'm unhappy with silver, it's a great truck.

They have sagged a little, but I think the stance is just about right for 265/75R16 ~31.8" Tall Tires. The rear I should of gone with 1 1/2" Blocks instead of the 1". It sits pretty much perfectly level with the 1" rear block and 885's, but any weight in the back makes it squat. I'll be switching to the Dakars at some point, but for now I'm happy. If I re-gear and go with 285's I'll swap out for some 887's. Another problem is I have the slight front left CV growl, it is only noticeable coasting in neutral with the radio off. I think with 887's the diff drop will be a must.

I still haven't taken any good pictures to show the stance. I get a lot of complements, but everyone asks when I'm going to swap out the factory wheels, lol.

Just letting you know my experience. I went ahead and bought the 887 coils and installed them, I haven't noticed any CV growl. The alignment came out awesome with SPC LR UCA. For the rear, I put a Deaver AAL with the overload bottom leaf left on. I kinda want to remove it, I do like slight bro lean-just a little. I mean I could just preload the front to .85 (IDK if it's really ok to do that or not) I did not install taco lean spacers, I don't even notice it.

What's your current front lift height after it settled?

I forgot what my official measurement was, and can't find where I wrote it down. I think it only settled 1/4" from when the 885's first went in.

On a side not, I bumped my 12" tall retaining wall and put one of the posts through my sidewall  only cost me $23 plus mount and balance $16 to replace the tire. The ATM's have been really good tires. I have about 5,000 on them and they are still smooth and quite. If I ever do any serious trail driving I'll swap them for something a little heavier duty.

Nice to see a 4 cyl 5 speed build, even though I've got a V6 and auto ... and local to me too. I'll keep an eye out for your truck around town or on the hill.

Did you ever get that CV howl fixed?

I have the same setup with the billies and the 885's sitting in the garage but I don't want to deal with that issue.

I'm likely going to just put in a 1/2" toytec top plate spacer and see how that works out for me.

Sorry for the late reply, I remember answering this, but I must not of sent it.

The sound went away, I' would say the springs settled about 1/2", and that might have been enough to make the sound unnoticeable or go away completely. These truck are really easy to work on, and from what I've read the bearing fix is pretty easy using the ECGS Bushing.

I made my first attempt to fix my horrible "Taco Lean", Not sure what happened, but it was really bad. Quick Specs 5100's set to 0, 885's rear 1" blocks.

I installed a 1/2" shim below my Rear Driver springs. Helped a bit, but I think I will need a 1/4" spacer for the front Driver as well.

Measurement from center of wheel to bottom of fender. The rear was 1 1/4" difference, WTF?

    Front Driver: 22 7/16" After: 22 3/4" (+ 5/16")
Front Passenger: 23 3/16" After: Same
    Rear Driver: 23" After: 23 1/2" (+1/2")
Rear Passenger: 24 1/4" After: Same

The front has a 1/2" difference and the rear has a 3/4" difference still, so a front driver 1/4" spacer should fix it, and help push the right rear down a bit also.

Solid Steel Shim and new Center Pin from Wheelers Offroad
    [IMG]

BAC (Big Ass Clamp) in place to hold the springs while I pull the Center Pin.

1/2" Shim in place with new Center Pin trimmed with Cutoff Wheel.

    All back together.
