Ok im kinda confused. I test drove a TRD SPORT and went over speed bump about 15 mph and it felt likt it wasn't there, However this Truck had 33,000 miles.

Today i test drove a TRD OFF ROAD with the 16's and i felt really stiff over the same bump.

I thought the TRD Off ROad would have a softer jounce thatn the Sport?

Part of it is that the Sport was more broken in, but:

The Sport has linear springs where as the Offroad has progressive springs.

The progressive springs will resist bottoming out much better and get more firm the further the springs are compressed. To combine with this in normal driving the Offroad soaks up little stuff (like driving on the highway) more because the springs are softer just riding around.

The linear springs will compress down much easier over something like a speedbump and soak it up, but when driving down the highway they give a harsher ride.

Also, no telling how the tires were aired up, 35 psi which is how mine came from the dealer made for a much bumpier ride than the 29psi (front) recommended on the door panel.
