SR5 stock wheels and bigger tires

    From what I’ve been reading here on TW, these are not trucks that are able to produce lots of power by adding performance parts. Other guys would probably recommend a tune for your stock truck or if you have the funds a supercharger. I have a 4cylinder 5speed manual and am quite happy with the way it drives.     All i did was install a new set of A/T tires that were for my 01 tundra on my 2020 sr5 tacoma...they were slightly wider but still recommended on the door jam for the truck...265/70 16's

    If you go 33" 255 pizza cutter, you won't lose as much power as a heavier 285. Nor will you rub on stock rims. Unfortunately there aren't too many tire choices in the 255/85/16 or 255/80/17 size.
