    Hey guys/gals.

I own a SR5 '21 and got my hands on a OR '21 suspension take off with bilstein 4600 shocks and TRD springs intact. The OR took these off at 1500 miles. Dedicated suspension companies (les schwab, 4 wheel parts) won't install because it's now considered personal equipment. I'm located in the northern Seattle area.

    Questions:
How can I get these installed?
Can an amateur install these with basic tools?
Does a voided suspension warranty really matter with these trucks being so reliable?

    Questions:
How can I get these installed? Either someone on TW can give you a hand or contact your local trusted mechanic shop/
Can an amateur install these with basic tools? Yes, jack, jack stands, sockets, etc.
Does a voided suspension warranty really matter with these trucks being so reliable? that's up to you, I changed out my suspension on my 2020 OR at 1500 miles and never thought twice about it.
10k miles later, I've changed everything out down to the leaf hangers.

    Good luck!

Awesome. I just called. They will do it for $580 for 4 hours if work. They warranty the work for 15k. Of course the parts are not covered.

$580 seems a little steep for intall.

580 labor + 275 shocks/springs (what I'll pay if I pull the trigger on the deal)

Seems like I should just get 5100 in all four corners and ome springs for $1200 with labor. (Original quote)

I don't think the springs are any different and the shocks are nothing to write home about. You're not going to get any lift out of the OR components. Also try the regional sub forums,,,, you'll probably get more install help there.

$580 is pretty steep, but sounds like 4 hours labor @ $120/hr +$100 for alignment and plus tax?

Post over in the regional section and see if someone can help you out.

Hit up the regional forum. If I don't have a supercharger sitting at work when I get back from vacation I may be able to do it on either the 15th or the 22nd. If the s/c is here then my weekends are likely going to be booked.

Hey I’m located in Milton, just south of Seattle. I can help with the install. I just lifted my 4runner and GX460 not too long ago. It’s not that hard. You’ll learn how to do this in the future. I have all the tools. It’s easy. PM me if you’re interested

They sent the heavy duty instead of the medium. But he’s adding a rear bumper tire carrier, canopy and some gear so it’ll settle.

If a member will do it great because most shops charge a premium for customer supplied parts. Randy's off-road in Marysville will do it also Olympic 4x4 in Snohomish and Mandy Mule outfitters in Snoqualmie. It really is very some to do with a buddy and some beers, YouTube has all the info you need to self install. GL m8

120 is pretty standard for shop labor in the Seattle area. I'm in Ballard let me know if you need to borrow any tools like a torque wrench

Update: Thanks guys for the help.

I ended getting the bilsteins 4600 with trd springs for $275 from offerup. The dude I bought it from upgraded his OR to RC suspension. Extra bonus... He threw in a free black exhaust tip due to no takers.

I went to Pacific Rim Automotive Inc. in Seattle. $370 for the install and $130 for alignment. I figured I'm getting into a box that goes 80 mph. So, I opted for the shop.

I'm happy with my current set up. It's close still being "stock" and the 4600s are pretty damn great..... Next on the list are tires!!

Shout out to captrussia253 for offering help. Sorry brother, I just found a closer place to get it done.
