SRS light on VIN not on safety recall list Help!

My air bag light recently can on so i took it to the dealer they said my vin doesnt qualify for the recall.... thats fine. can somebody tell me how to isolate the problem on my own like how to read srs codes? or a flow chart or something i can follow to help me find the problem that is causing the light? any help is much welcomed thanks

Mine was on to it ended up being the module under the passanger side seat. If you have a buddy with a tacoma just switch them and see if it goes out. When someone would sit in my passanger seat the airbag light for them didnt come on that might help diag. it. but i just switched the module and it went out. so i bought one it was like 300 or somthing like that.
