Since we got enough generated interest for a group buy, we’re going to move forward and make it live. The group buy will cover all Tacoma products that are fabricated by us, so this includes our Slimline, Full Front Bumper, Tube Front Bumper, Stage 2s, Roof Rack and Rock Sliders. The way this group buy will work, if you will go to our website www.Southernstyleoffroad.com and use coupon code GB2021 which will give you 10% off our fabricated products on your original order. Over the course of 2 weeks (10/7/2021 - 10-21-2021) I will monitor the sales made with the coupon code. Every work day at 4 PM Central I will update the thread with the new amount of sales we reached, and update where we are on the current % off achieved. At the end of the 2 week period, I will refund everyone the following Monday (October 25th, 2021) after completion of the group buy as it’s quite a process and will require most likely a full work day to process everyone’s refunds.

Here are some disclaimers and general information:


-The coupon code will NOT work in conjunction with any other sales/promotions going on

-Dealers are not allowed to use this coupon for orders

-The coupon ONLY works for SSO fabricated products, so if you want a Baja light or Heise light the coupon will ONLY apply to the bumper, not the lightbar

-Our estimated lead times are on each product page and due to Covid/ us moving our business to a bigger location, and Hurricane Ida slamming into us a few products fell behind the estimated lead time. We have since hired new employees to help with the fallen behind workload and are closing the gap on products every single day. With that said, I would expect a little longer than normal lead time if we hit 100 orders

-Full/Tube/ bumpers and Sliders are shipped to your local HUB not directly to your house as the pallet it comes on is 80+ inches long, 30-40 inches wide and 30 inches tall. This is stated on our website but I wanted to reiterate this to newcomers to our products. Slimlines, Stage 2s, Roof Rack all ship to your house via Fedex/UPS.

-Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska and Canada will be calculated at time of completion and you will be charged the difference at that time.

As promised, the 4 PM update today. We are at 2 orders since released. I will monitor orders overnight and tomorrow and update you guys. The first tier is ALWAYS the longest and hardest sales as everyone is contemplating and waiting to see if it will work out. Last time we did this group buy we hit 100+ bumpers sold in 2 weeks but it took 3 days to break 10!

 

As of 4 PM today we're at 6 people meaning we're 4 people away from 15% off, and 19 people away from 20% off. Like I've stated before the first tier is the hardest to unlock usually because people are all waiting for the biggest % off to be reached before they purchase.

 

On the Slimline hybrid drop down menu, I don't see an option for the Rigid 30" cutout. Would the Baja or Heise cut out work? Already have the Rigid 30" bar. Thanks.

 

We've gotten the website updated to include the 20 and 30" Rigid light bar cut outs.

 

Sorry for the late update, had some doctors appointments today for my little girl. So we're at 9, so only 1 away from the next tier. We're actually going to change things up a tiny bit. Tomorrow when we hit 10 people, I'll refund the first 10 their 5% automatically and adjust the coupon to 15% so it's less work on the backend!

 

ohh i might have to jump on this, been wanting the full plate bumper for awhile.... i have a diode dynamics stealth 30inch lightbar, would i be able to use it with one of your existing 30in options in the drop down menu (baja or rigid it looks like)?

I've been eyeing the slimline hybrid but putting it off "to be responsible" and "save money like an adult should", then here you come with this thread singing the siren song that'll break my bank account on the rocky shore of group buys.

Does this mean UPS/Fedex Hub? Is there a way to tell where our bumper would end up before ordering it?

 

Looks like FedEx for the smaller bumpers.

 

We will be refunding everyone the % unlocked after the GB.

We use other LTL carriers as they're much cheaper. Send me your zip code and I can give you a location.

Fedex ships all packages not LTL for us at the moment.
