Definitely interested. Can you tell me more about the chip? I'm not seeing on the website where you purchase a chip for different gears?

You email them and they’ll send you the correct chip for your gears. I emailed them when I moved to 5.29s to ask what I should do, this was their response...

“We have provided alternate shift map programming for several users who have 4.88 gears. This allows us to factor the shift points by the speed ratio of the 4.88 vs 3.90 gears. We can do the same for you with the 5.29 gears. If you would like to do this, go ahead and place a V2chip order on our website. We will flag it by your name and provide programming with the shift-maps adjusted by the 5.29/3.90 speed ratio.”

I think if you have stock gears then you’d just order the chip directly on the link I posted earlier.

Ohh ok. I got the impression that purchasing that chip would somehow upgrade a v1 to a v2.

    How old is the unit?

It would, but it’s the same chip you would buy to change 5.29 v2 to 3.90 v2.

I bought it May 2019, changed the internal chip to 5.29 in November.

    Awesome. OK I'll take it.

How are you liking the 5.29 gears

I guess this is a sign I should just get 5.29 gears as well. Nitro Gears?

    Sent you a DM.

Yep, nitro with the work done at ECGS. Once you do that you won’t need this anymore and you’ll come back on here to sell it.

    Sold! Thanks
