My original grill is looking for a new home. It has no broken tabs. Except for the light brackets and hole to mount the camera, its in perfect condition.

Must be picked up in Wilson, NC. I don't have a suitable box to ship it.

I chose to power the switch lights by from the switch itself. It only lights up when ON.

@Tullie D, I have a 2nd gen with aftermarket rear view mirror has video 2 which I plan to install front camera in emblem. Your wiring setup looks similar to what I will do but using add a fuse and 3 prong switch. Is it simple as camera power to switch then other end to add a fuse which plugs into slot in fuse panel? Of course addressing the ground. Am I missing something? For rear camera it was ez I splice into tow hitch wires reverse power/ground. Is the CH4x4 switch more for looks to fill up the space for button since your not using the 2nd red cable to dashboard lights?

That's an interesting mirror/monitor combo. I used the CH4x4 switch because it was easy and looks like it belongs there.

May will go w 2 pin toggle button dont really need that led light. Seems easier like how I splice into reverse power/ground for rear camera. Could probably use tail light power/ground and then break the connection w toggle button in either cables as this guy explains @ 4:30min.

Anyone think fuse is needed if i go w 2 pin switch? Toggle switch btwn ground wire and splice tail light wire for power.
