    Bravo company 16" carbine upper
    bcm bcg
    sog lower
    magpul grips.

I picked up a SOG lower and buffer tube from a gun show in Ft. worth on saturday. Ill get pics ups tomorrow.

I asked the guys running the booth about SOG and they said they run a shop out of houston and make their own lowers. It looks pretty legit so far.

Next up will be the lower parts kit, then buffer and spring, then I think im gonna go with a Magpul desert tan grip and stock

Very nice! I wish I knew you were there at the show. I was there Sunday pretty much all day. I bought a Sig522, and a scope. I hung out with one of the vendors all day and shot the shit with him. He sells alot of AK accessories. Needless to say I bought some mags and some odds and ends from him for my AK74.

    Good review of the Sig

Nice. I picked up a cheap tac light for my XD as well.

I picked up my LPK (DPMS) at lunch. $64 bucks after tax
    [IMG]

from what Ive read lpk's are not really that much different from each other untill you get into the high dollar ones. For what I'll be using this gun for Im sure this will suit my needs just fine.

I had the same LPK for the same price and returned it when I found out I could get RRA with two-stage trigger for another $50.
For my purposes, it seems like the better deal.
    FYI

A two-stage trigger has take-up to a point, then resistance...and when you pull through the resistance, the shot breaks.
Gives you warning when the sear releases.
Benefit is lighter pull and a definite sense of when the shot breaks.
    Really helps accuracy.
I have one and like it.

Make sure that you get the chrome lined barrel, and save some money by getting a standard, single stage trigger until you get some rounds down range. You can always upgrade to a nice two stage later.

If you want a screaming deal on a really great upper, contact this guy and see if he still has the ones in this thread. $500 for a CMMG cannot be beat. Way better piece than the RRA.

I already picked up a single stage LPK for 60 bucks so im good on that for now.

is CMMG any good? I thought they were on the lower end of the AR spectrum

CMMG is on the mid/upper end. RRA, DPMS are lower end stuff, according to what I have read.

Disagree on the lighter pull. My Timmney breaks at 2.75 lbs. and is a single stage trigger.

yea I didnt agree with the lighter pull part either. my last ar had a single stage and I liked it just fine.

I like the spikes stuff too. Ive been looking at their uppers as well. but I always end up going back to Bravo company and drooling over their stuff but they are always sold out
