    Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
    RRA two-stage=4.5lb with consistent, predictable break.
    standard single=5-8lb, gritty, unpredictable.

    Of course an RRA is going to be a better trigger than an out of the box unit. I dont know of one upgraded trigger assembly that isnt. However, Why not spend a few bucks over the price of an RRA trigger, and get one thats even better? Timney, as well as others, Make some fine triggers, with no creep, 1/8" or less over travel, and about the same reset. My Timney breaks at 2.75#. No creep. And was about 30 bucks over the RRA. And I have shot many AR's with the RRA trigger, and can honestly say its a good baseline trigger assembly. I dont think its worth near the price for it however.

    There are a lot of brands that I like but BCM is right up there with the best, if not the best choice. CMMG is a mid-level brand that makes a lot of parts for other manufacturers and I would own one. BCM prices are hard to beat for what you get though.

    well I guess...I went ahead an ordered From bravo company. they were sold out of the middys so I ordered the 16" carbine length upper, their BCG, and mod 4 charging handle.
    got it, however I dont mind shooting the cheaper 55gr stuff :D

    You are gonna love that BCM Kev, my cousin got the same one as you last summer. I was building a spikes at the time and to be honest the BCM really had the edge in fit and finish. My cousin picked up one of the troy battle sights too, the rifle was only two windage clicks away from a 50yd/200m zero. I was thoroughly impressed with his BCM upper,(it was sitting on a spikes lower and rra lpk, just like mine) and it seemed like such a better fit. I know movement in the receivers is mil spec but the spikes set was waaayyy to sloppy. Enjoy your new project, don't forget to post pics bro.

    I know ill like the BCM, I just hope it mates to my lower well and the finish matches the upper.
    Now I just play the waiting game for the mail man.
    Ive got an aimpoint for my sight and I was just planning on getting a magpul for the rear back up sight.
