Lowered 3/4, debadged, led tails, projector headlights with hids, billet grill, blacked out windows, painted front and rear bumper and grill shell. Inside, 4 crappy 15's, suede wrapped headliner and door panel inserts, alpine double din, few painted pieces inside, and every led is either blue or white.
Nice work on the truck. Really sucks that you wrecked it. Glad you're alright though. Not a huge fan of Kicker, at all. Overall all though I liked what you did with most the things. I don't think it was a good idea to put the speakers in the bed like that though. No speaker is weatherproof, just resistant. I'm not bashing but just speaking my mind.

I know they aren't waterproof but with these designs they are sealed 100%. Trust me I wouldn't have put them in the bed to get exposed to the elements if they weren't. I sealed them around the edges when I bolted them in and there are cups on the back I made to protect the rear of them. The tweeter doesn't sit on a coax pole like most speakers. Its suspended on the grill so the driver has a sealed dust cap. I could sumberge these speakers in this application and they would keep playing find. I actually have proof of that... last summer I did a build on my Honda trx450er (I may post pics for you guys it was sick) and did this speaker but in a motor sports version (5.25 and super lightweight) in custom fenders and I rode in the rain, dust, mud, even took them UNDER WATER and they still played LOUD lol like I said.. I've thought of nearly everything and if there was a weak point or something that may not last a while I would know about it. I make sure my installs are long term.

Glad you're ok, but sucks about the work and effort put into it. Nice that you walked away with a few scrapes and bruises. I've known people who have had their noses broken from an airbag deploying.

Okay so I have a question for you all. Non-audio related. I'm about to get the SST kit, 17" fuel boost wheels with Terra grappler tires offset, tint, smoked spyder halo headlights, and a mesh grill. The question is will the mesh grill listed for 08..09..10, fit the 2011? Anyone know? I'm starting to think 2011 is somewhat the bastard child of Tacomas with parts because the came from the 07-10 body style then 2011 looks identical but nothing says it fits it too. THEN 2012 was the change in interior and body. I need to know asap if I can order this grill that says it fits up to 2010 on my 2011 TRD sport

You'll be sorry on the Spyder lights.
Their pattern is terrible, and light output with HID is not as good as stock.

Go with a true projector retrofit if you want projectors, or if you want better lighting without HID, get a pair of Silverstars.

Yeah honestly I knew the headlights wouldn't be as good as my stock with the output but I wanted them so I didn't have an all black truck with giant chrome headlights sticking out. Anything smoked would havedone for me. Plus, they were free to me :) because my girlfriend is a badass lol I was looking at them online one day and said they would be cool but were too expensive right now and she went later and ordered them and had them shipped to my house without saying anything they just showed up one day! And the actual spyder brand too not a cheaper knock off lol I freaking love that girl haha. And thanks for all the info on the grill fitting. Idk what I would do if I wasn't a member here!

I, like most, was thinking "buy a supercharger or lift!" After seeing your quality work I quickly changed my mind. Excellent job. I was pretty excited to read on and see pictures until the kick in the balls that the truck was wrecked! Good luck with it bro

Hello everyone! Yes I bought a new truck and I'm moving a lot of stuff over from the old one. I'll start posting pics soon but this one is going slower. I have a ton of other things going on getting married buying a house and that doesn't leave much room for truck time. But I'll get some on here! I came up with a few more ideas I've already done a few
