The OTRATTW switches don't fit right out of the box, I used a few of them in the blanks to the left of the steering wheel. I'm not sure if they fit right in to the ones below the head unit though.

Edit: Meant to say I used them in the blanks to the left of the steering wheel, with a little modification.

I mean will they still click into place? What needs to be trimmed? I bought a rocker switch already from Amazon that said would fit and it wouldn't latch in bc the insert was too deep to catch the arms of the switch

They would go left of the steering wheel in my truck. Can you post a picture of the final?

OK so here is the newest project!!! I know its no anywhere near being done and still in its ugly stages but you will get the idea of what Im doing. here are some pics below. From left to right I have an illuminated wired marine remote so I can control all functions of the head unit, a rocker switch that will turn on all the audio in the truck without the key in the ignition (this switch will NOT work when the truck is locked and alarm armed, so someone cant just come along and turn it on). Above that is a volume knob that adjusts the marine bed speakers seperately from the rest of the stereo, then I have a digital volt meter so I can monitor the battery voltage in case it gets low listening to music. and last I have a marine 12volt cigarette lighter. All will be hiden by the origional cover and look stock till its removed :) What do you all think???

oh one more thing to add, everything in this pocket and in the bed is marine grade so it can get wet and stand up to outside temps.

here are 2 more pics, I put dynamat on the inside of the bed there are 2 full sheets on each side. made a huge difference i doenst sound so hollow when you close the doors and hear the bed shake. and im sure going on gravel roads it wont be so loud. but i did it because of the speakers mostly. And another rattle I noticed was the plastic bed railing/runners so I put pieces of dynaliner going down each side and they dont move at all

Build is coming along nicely! How much listening time do you figure you have when the car is off considering you're drawing all your power from one battery?

I'm assuming the whole bed speakers idea is so you can put on music while you're camping or tailgating or something like that. Just wondering how much time you think you'll have before the battery juices out?

well thing is I will have the gain turned up higher on those speakers so they can be louder than the rest of the truck so i wont be running all the amps hard to tailgate and camp. so it will last a while. if i had to guess, I would say a good 30-40 min or so before it got low enought id want to start it. BUT heres the cool part - i have a viper smart start/remote start/alarm on the truck and it has a funtion where if the battery gets below a certain voltage, it starts itself :) so technically the truck will be monitoring itself and when it gets too low will start and run for a set amount of time then shut off again. ive literally thought of every detail i could putting all this together

and yes it would be used for those things. another would be I like to take the jet skis to the lake in the summer and have the truck backed up to the water with all my friends so we all swim and park the skis on the trailer right there attatched to the truck in the water. im hoping it will be a big hit

Well I'm officially even more impressed than when I subbed to this thread. I can't say anything others on this thread already have not. Kudos and keep up the good work. I will gladly continue to look at the fine craftsmanship you are showing.

Ground block for my 4ch amps (under driver seat)

Here is that airbag crash sensor I was talking about that I had to move. Re-mounted in the same orientation just over a bit to the left and forward from where it was. You can see where its located from my ground block too on the right
