Static vs. Dynamic balancing, or flatspot?...help

Hey guys,

Just got my 3" lift and 33" Treadwright Tires on yesterday. I went to Walmart to get them mounted and balanced and told them to use the STATIC setting (vs DYNAMIC) on balance since treadwright suggests this setting and the warranty is void otherwise.

Well I told the guy at Walmart this, but I guess it was transfered to another guy who didnt get the memo.
Two were balanced dynamic, Then two static cause he said dynamic wasn't working well.
I told him after it shoud've been all Static, but he said it would be fine.
He didnt charge me for balancing I think because of the mixup. He also did mention he noticed one of my rims had a bit of a flatspot when on the balancer.

So one of my wheels has this much weight on it (both sides)...could this be a cause of a flatspot? or the wrong balance setting? I'm thinking of going back and getting the two dynamic ones done again in Static. Or is this fine?

Dude....wtf. That is a lot of weight, something is really wrong! Go somewhere else that has real mechanics, or the stealership. Why the hell are they putting those kind of weights on an aluminum rim, I would snap on someone!

Have them turn the tires 180 and see if they take less weight....

 

Went to a good tire shop for re-balancing and alignment. (Big Brand Tire)

One tire needed almost 16oz! wtf! def calling TreadWright tomorrow for replacement tire. Rides good now tho, couldnt get any caster without new UCAs tho so bit of wandering.

Damn Walmart, left my rim all marked from the weights, o well I gave up caring about scratches and shit a while ago...lol...but yes, never again...
