I’m going with SCS F5’s on my cavalry when they show up...haven’t decided what size just yet... or color, black or gun metal I think.

Cant go wrong with some TE37SB’s in a 17 inch. Since you can afford a pro i figured why not throw it in the ring.

I have the FN FX pros... wish I woulda done SCS F5's in bronze...something also tells me bronze has the possibility of looking awesome on a cavalry blue taco. If theres any chance your in the PNW I may be getting rid of my FN's if you end up going that route, congrats on the new truck!

That looks pretty sweet to me. That’s about my only gripe with the pro’s, pretty lousy stock tire choice. I assume your stock height? What size tire? (That’s seems to be the most famous question asked on here)

Currently I have 285's. I have the dreaded spacer lift up front, its something like a one half inch spacer so its really not noticeable. I am looking to get rid of the big tires and go back to 265's and completely stock suspension just need someone who has 265's and wants to trade!

As far as color goes, I would def go with the black. With the cav blue being the particular shade that it is, I know I would choose black wheels (matte etc.). I feel it would look much more aggressive in my opinion. The wheel style is up to u. Lol. Best of luck and please post pics when u get them on!

Is that for all color variations? Do you know if they are out of blemishes as well?

Absolutely no to the knock off TRD Pro wheels.

The TRD Pro black wheels should be MATTE not gloss. That wheel in the picture is NOT Matte.

And I think you have to be careful getting black gloss wheels on a truck. Unless you are one of "those people" that puts low profile tires on a truck, truck tires have a lot more rubber than cars with the low profile tires. Tires, unless you really work hard to constantly keep a quality dressing on them, will start to dull and fade over time. The gloss wheels tend to make this much more noticeable. Matte black tends to not show as much contrast, especially as the wheels get dirty with the tires.

My local tire shop trashed 3/5 of my 4R TRD Pro wheels. They had to attempt to fix the wheel before they would buy me new ones. The shop that refinished the wheels could only do a gloss "black" not a matte. And I say "black" because it wasn't black. It was really really dark grey. I did not care for the look.

If you want the 4Runner TRD Pro wheels, buy genuine Toyota, not the knock offs. @Unchained 5150 did a bunch of deals way back. Could get you a set of 4 for like $750 if I remember right. Not sure if he has these deals anymore.

Wheels look bomb with my camo sidewall Special Edition Firestone Destination A/Ts :bananadance:

Do you have some data to support this, or you just offering your opinion? I’m not arguing, that’s a legit question.

I agree that SCS the Ray10s are a great looking and quality wheel. I’ve run the S6 in the past and loved them. Personally I like the look of the FX Pros (and the TRD 4Runner Pros), and they seem to have received good reviews.

Vin and Vuth at SCS are offering a great line of wheels for Toyota’s. But likewise, Dustin at FN wheels is doing the same. Just seems that SCS is the trending brand right now.

Personally I can’t decide which company or model to go with as they all look good. Offset/backspacing specs will most likely be my deciding factor when the time comes.

    Care to expound?
I've done quite a bit of reading up on TRD wheels since I've considered throwing them on my wife's T4R and the FN's seem to get rave reviews everywhere. These aren't your eBay knock offs, some would argue they're an improvement over stock.

The rest of my post expounds on why I say no. They are not a matte black wheel.
