Steering heat parallel to outside mirror heat relay. Opinions

    Okay, so what's the issue? You are concerned that the steering wheel heater will turn off after 15 minutes because it is shares common power with the mirror heater circuit?

    Nope. Someone asked in another thread about tying into the mirror heater circuit for his steering heater. Didn't want to thread jack it.

    Ahh. I gotcha. Yeah. The steering wheel heater would auto shut off after 15 minutes like the heated mirrors would. The problem is the steering wheel heater is a button and not one which does not have a solid on/off position like ththe power inverter. If the steering wheel heater auto shuts the button will remain in the ON position which would confuse you.
