i have a 95 tacoma 4wd, it's had alot of bumpsteer since i've owned it (mostly i think because of the 31's on it) but i've looked and looked and it seems no one makes an aftermarket steering stabilizer for a 95?

anyone here had any luck? or will something from like a 4 runner possibly fit it? i need something done, it shouldn't shake this bad at 65mph + i mean once your up around 85 you've really gotta hold on and watch yourself because if you let go it'l go just about everywhere from the slightest bump in the road.

What kind of lift do you have on it? You have to remember you're driving a truck and not a car going 85 and you're bound to have some vibrations.

no lift, just 31 10.5 15 BFG all terrains.

I wasn't informed of a lift if it has one, and im positive it doesnt, but the way this thing shakes at 65 is how it should feel at 85, i can let my fingers hang on the top of the steering wheel and you can see your fingers shaking something fierce.

im going to try other areas to fix the problem - shocks/ball joints/ tie rod ends/ i just had the tires balanced - no difference.

just a toyota tacoma 4wd, no lift not been wrecked its perfectly in align it doesn't wander the slightest bit - it just has bump steer something awful.

I have the exact same problem with the 99 taco Pre-runner 2WD.
My late son just got it 3 months ago, and we traded each other about 4 weeks ago as he could never come up with any cash to fix what it needed.
I had the timing belt , water pump and horn and seatbelt replaced at the Stealership. Tires rotated and balanced abd still wobbles like mad at 65.

I just purchased these two items.....

    and

    .

Haven`t got both yet, as I`ll install them at the same time and see if that helps it out. If not...then on to ball joints and such

Those and a Lug-centric balancing made 95% go away.
