Hey guys I'm new here and couldn't find a thread that had this issue and was curious if anyone could help. I have an aftermarket Alpine stereo I installed 2 years ago with the plug-and-play harness for steering wheel controls. everything worked with no issues for 2 years.

Recently, I had the negative battery terminal disconnected while changing the spark plugs. I turned the truck on and realized I didn't reconnect one of the hoses (stupid i know). After I plugged it back in and started the truck back up I noticed the steering wheel controls stopped working and the airbag light stayed on while I drove around the neighborhood. Thoughts?

    I have a 2008 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 SR5. Thanks in advance!

@craygoza Does cruise work? Horn? You are in the age for the clock spring to go bad. If so, your symptoms would equate.

    And welcome.
