The Airbag is the 2 wire type. The 2002-2005 Sequoia uses a single wire airbag and some older Tundra's as well as Camry's. So I'm looking for a different airbag now.

    20180128_131737.jpg

This clock spring will fit our column mounting locations and has the correct plug for the controls and single airbag. https://www.amazon.com/QKPARTS-Spring-Toyota-Sequoia-2002-2005/dp/B077Y8PHB2

The wire connectors from the column to the clock spring assembly I'm still researching.
Most after market radios will work with steering wheel control interface. If you have a Pioneer head unit check this info. http://jvde.net/node/7 Since most controls work off resistance This Pioneer hack may work for other head units. Just google search for your brand. Connector for radio controls:

EDIT: Looking like using a interface module would be the cheapest and easiest to hook controls up to HU.
    20180128_132810.jpg

Connector for cruise control and cruse control stalk. All the resistance for each button appears to be the same as ours. So the CC should be just pinning the plug correctly to match ours.

I need to find a 00-03 Tundra airbag since they only use 1 connector.

Did you only hook up one side of Airbag? The one I have is a dual bag.

EDIT: Your second gen so yours would already be a dual rate bag.

i do believe those had the same wheel as 01-04 Tacomas, the airbag wont fit. I know the 02 i just had at work was definitely the same wheel as my 01 taco.

I needs to be a tundra wheel with the audio control options. There may be other years and models useable. I'm still researching it. The Tundra and Sequoia clock springs have the plug for audio controls with only 1 airbag plug. That's what has pointed me in this direction for model of vehicle.

No the actual spokes for the wheel are in different locations. I looked at swapping just cover to my airbag. It's completely different.
