Thing is the steering wheels that have heating elements use dual stage airbag charges. I don't think many cars with the single stage airbag charge had heated wheels, if any.

The wiring might be separate from the airbag, but I'm guessing the SRS reel has something to do with what you're saying. Oh well, get remote start and wire in the accessory to turn on the blower and make sure you set it on heat.

The steering wheel controls traverses through the same clockspring as the airbag wiring, so you would have to have the clockspring from the vehicle with the donor wheel.

It's funny I actually have a really fancy remote start I just haven't had the time to hook it up.

Super easy, I just never bother with adding the acc wire to the blower motor. Once I warm up I go in and turn on the heat and blower then drive.

I have a spreadsheet and I just got lost in the amount of wires I had to splice. This is about half the wires on my spreadsheet.

Our 1st gens are simple, don't really need a whole lot from the alarm wiring. Now if you're adding additional sensors thats a different story, but still possible to do because they are all ground triggers.

Everything is straightforward besides splicing into the ignition wires for me. It's a little confusing

Awesome! Looks great too! Just to be clear, you are using a 2003 Sequoia steering wheel, airbag, and click spring, correct?

I can't wait for the right up.

Oh and the cancel cam for the turn signal. You can make the original one work but it's hokie.

The hard part to find will be the single stage airbag. It only came in the 2003-04 Sequoia and Tundra. There's a handful on ebay for sale.

i figure the airbag will be the hardest to find.. might just price out one from work. (still probably way too much)
