Does anyone know if this will work on a 2010 Tacoma, 2nd gen?

    Also 6’4” with 76” wingspan...the same problem

im gonna take is a bit off topic but im 6'1 with a long ass torso and my head has dented the roof several times sending too hard and so i sit laying back really far so im not on the roof, because my legs are too short for me to be very far back, and my arms struggle to reach, is there an easy way to get the seat lower? or is this pretty easy?

    I just received a response from 949racing
Here's a direct quote: "We don't have any fitment information for Toyotas, we have only tested it on the 86 chassis cars. We have been told they fit the 3rd gens but do not know about wiring on any Tacoma platform."

I guess somebody brave enough with extra $269 could test it on a 2nd gen

Would you be willing to elaborate on what you had to do regarding the wiring? Really getting tired of how far away my steering wheel is.

Yes that's the one. When I had it made it wasn't known if it fit the Tacoma.

I'm 5'10'', and thought it was just me with the steering post height, but at least this adjustable power seat helps. I got so use to my gen1 tundra that had way more tilt adjustment that it became easy to find my ideal seating position in relation to the steering wheel. Imo, toyota still has a way to go to improve this for the tacoma.

I tried to contact them with that same question. It seems like that item would fit some 2014 models (according to their design or experience).
From the pictures it almost seems like It can fit 2nd gen Tacomas.
Hard to tell since I've never worked on a 3rd gen to compare.

    They never responded though

The spacers should fit 2nd Gen.
I have been going through the wheel swap threads and it looks like all the Toyota/Lexus/Scion wheels are on the same shaft.

I can confirm they finally responded.
They are not in stock right now, but the manufacturing should be completed during November.

The following is a reference to my question regarding a 2nd gen Tacoma (I am sure it should apply to the 3rd gen as well)

Choose this for regular steering wheel (No steering wheel buttons)
Choose this for Steering Wheel Buttons to be included

I just placed my order (backorder). I can share pictures whenever I receive the spacer.

I got the 949 racing wheel extender and installed it. Make sure you get the electronic wire extension on their site (it should be a box you check on the page with the hub.) It is a night and day difference. I'm 6'1 with long legs, I no longer bump my leg letting out the clutch and I can fully touch the brake without having to do a weird sideways leg dance lol. My knee still sometimes hits the steering column but its way less common now (maybe trim that down somehow but that will be a big project). The wiring for this was kind of a pain, the airbag wires become very tight so you may need to route them slightly different from how they are OEM.

I just installed my extension from 949 Racing on my 2010 DCSB. The install was a breeze. I did order the extra wiring harness extension but it turns out I did not need it. The only mod I had to do was regarding the four wires which actually connect to the air bag as they were not long enough after installing the extension. So I just spliced in a couple extra inches of wire and it went back together neatly. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST MOD I HAVE DONE ON MY TRUCK!!!! I am 6"4" with a 36" inseam and I have never been comfy, but this has changed the game. I do have to reach out for the turn indicator, but it's a small price to pay for decent ergonomics. I also installed the seat jacker mod which lifts the front of the seat and that has made a difference too. I am one happy big dude in a little truck!

Interesting. Can you post some pictures? It may be nice to be able to introduce more bend in my arms!

Just confirming, guessing by your avatar your truck is a 2020 TRD Offroad, and the wiring extension worked for your steering wheel controls?

Glad you're enjoying the spacer :)
