No drawing but humor is recommended for your personal safety.

I agree 2" lower on the seat would be great.

Same problem here. My 06 Jetta as great had plenty of telescoping. But this truck sucks.

Best hope if you want it to look clean is they add more for 2018 and you swap it out.

    https://www.google.com/amp/www.foxn...n-stretched-to-lsquogrowrsquo-taller.amp.html

    Get your arms lengthened?
    Or
    Get your legs shortened?

Seems a tad bit drastic but?

Seriously though I'm 6' 3" and know what you're talking about but it's not that bad for me although 1" or 2" closer would definitely help
I don't see the effort, time or expense worth it in my case

    Some thoughts to consider:
Wire length might be a big problem or maybe not ?

Spacer behind the steering wheel would be fairly easy but will probably look horrible.

I never got past the thought part of this and actually opened the hood to look at it further but making the steering shaft longer under the hood and making an extension plate for the mount in the interior might be worth looking into further

Unless we extend the column yes. When you have a super comfortable steering position you tend to be okay with the stalk not being super ergo.

Yes wires will have to be extended. I have no idea what that entails. Air bags might have special kinds of wiring that cannot be simply extended? Idk I'm not a doctor.

    Edit: It looks simple.

I have never modded a steering shaft, it sounds like a pain in the ass, but worth consideration.

Here is the whole assembly. Found on ebay. Looks like the same exact setup as my scion.

If adding a traditional wheel hub and spacer those two harnesses would have to be extended to reach back into the steering wheel from their plug on the clock spring. Does anyone know if these are special wires that cannot be simply extended?

Possible way to space out the whole assembly? Option one seems like the way to go.

Going to contact NRG about SRK-125H Short hub for "05+" and see if they tested it on the 3rd gen.
